As cultural producers in the PNW, we understand the importance of being in community and showing up for the most vulnerable. We strive to continue to find new ways to RESIST.
In 2024 we threw a benefit event where all funds raised were donated to Ajyal foundation which has been delivering food to displaced families in Gaza and providing psychosocial activities for displaced children in Gaza suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other adverse mental health conditions as a direct result of the genocide a for a Palestinian family of 6 fleeing Gaza to Egypt to safety.
In 2021 we threw a benefit event for Mutual Aid South King County which supports survivors, sick & disabled, immunocompromised, undocumented, and QTBIPOC folks in South King County & Eastside.
In 2019 we threw a benefit event for Northwest Immigrants Rights Project. event we showed up for the most vulnerable at the time and connected with other community members working to do the same.
For each event, we also collaborated with artists from those communities and paid them to perform or share their art in some way. As we RESIST together we will highlight the artists and community members we collaborate with along the way.
